last week i spent four days in the royal mansour hotel, which is more like a palace. you don’t just get a hotel room, but you live in 3-story-houses, which are called riads, with your own rooftop terrace and pool.

thelionheaded.com-marrakech-3this magnificent hotel was built at the behest of morocco’s king mohammed VI. more than 1,500 moroccan artisans were employed to craft the exquisite palace over a duration of more than 3 years.

without even knowing about our marrakech trip a few weeks before, i had already chosen the perfect outfit from zalando. the white and blue colors blended well into the impressive restaurant area of the hotel as you can see.

i also had the chance to enjoy a special oriental night with dinner by yannick alléno (three michelin-stars chef of the hotel). there you could also see oriental princesses walking trough the hallways of the beautiful buildings and it was like entering another world. the oriental caftan fashion show was accompanied by some berber music and dance – it was a heavenly experience indeed.
