Do you think you can only feel like an emperor in a European city like Vienna? Stepping into the Boutique Hotel Casa Azul will teach you better. Entering the hallway with the beautiful treasury garden in the middle will let you wait for “Empress Sissi”.

Casa Azul is located in Mérida, which is the safest city in México and located perfectly to discover a lot of different areas of Yucatán. Therefore we decided to stay in Mérida for a couple of days and we didn’t regret that decision!

The intimate “city castle” offers 8 superior luxurious suites – and our room even included a spacious bathroom with a huge jacuzzi.

After a long day of exploring Mérida or visiting the surrounding spots like the Mayan Ruins of Uxmal or some Cenotes (natural cave pools) you are more than happy to relax in you king size bed after having a luxurious jacuzzi chill out experience.

The Breakfast

At Casa Azul the breakfast is included and they also offer my beloved vegetarian version of Eggs Benedict. This is one of the only dishes I still can’t resist although I’m already almost a vegan at home. Here they are accompanied by delicious Mexican signature sauces, that spice it up nicely! Aside from the egg dishes you can get lots of different fruits and sweet pastries.
