Sasha Kanevski’s new SS17 collection was inspired by Soviet boys in love with customizing their cars. There would be no better backdrop for my fashion editorial than Cuba, which was shaped by a big Soviet influence and still has lots of experience in “customizing” (e.g. repairing) old cars.

Today’s fashion world is still inspired by the young and reckless so called “Post Soviet” scene. Sasha Kanevski established his brand in 2010 in Kiev and proofs once more why we love this aesthetic so much.
