Some traditions need to be kept alive, but others can come and go as they please! When it comes to fashion I’m really no traditionalist, as you can see in this yellow editorial. Also when it comes to tea, I’m not into traditions. I love tea in all it’s shapes and forms, be it hot or cold, classic English or crazy flavored. And the new sparkling Carpe Diem “Kurkuma” edition is no exception.

When it comes to traditions it’s pretty much the same as with religion. You have to find your own personal path and not follow everything or everyone blindly. While tea time is very important to me, I don’t care about the actual time. Tea time is whenever I feel like it ;-)

Of course you can gather traditions from all over the world and combine them into your own new way of living. You can create your own traditions! In fashion it’s all about finding your own style and comfort.

I like breaking rules when it comes to fashion and this is my only tradition. If you combine traditional Japanese Trousers with a Trashy Raver T-Shirt you have to be courageous, while creating your own tradition of thinking outside of the fashion box.

A few years ago no-one would have thought the Raver scene look will be back in fashion, but Gabba is more “now” than most other trends. Or besides that trend – who would have thought “Dad-Core” will ever be a thing? If you would have asked me five years ago If I want to look like my grandfather on vacation, I would have asked you to stop drinking alcohol and start drinking more tea ;)

Carpe Diem’s new Kurkuma experience

So “What’s Now” in the tea scene: Carpe Diem released the new “Kurkuma” edition. The Indian root powder turmeric is absolutely hip in the health addicted blogger crowd. And I honestly have to say – it got me too. But not because it seems to heal every sickness, lets you live for 200 years and makes you look like a young god… no, it just tastes really good! I love the rather acerbic taste.

Carpe Diem added the ingredient to a white sparkling tea with a slight taste of the Japanese Yuzu lemon to balance it. Read more about the new Carpe Diem KURKUMA edition here!
