MARRAKECH – ROYAL FEELINGS
last week i spent four days in the royal mansour hotel, which is more like a palace. you don’t just get a hotel room, but you live in 3-story-houses, which are called riads, with your own rooftop terrace and pool.
the hotel was built in a traditional way by using local craftsmanship and techniques as well as luxurious materials, such as the traditional cedar wood, chiseled metal and sculpted plaster work. it is like a palace in an oriental fairytale.
the service in the royal mansour is really outstanding. the very obliging staff is always on the lookout to fulfill your wishes.
without even knowing about our marrakech trip a few weeks before, i had already chosen the perfect outfit from zalando. the white and blue colors blended well into the impressive restaurant area of the hotel as you can see.
so today i’m still dreaming about the breakfast and the different kinds of moroccan bread and the special pancakes there. not to forget the fresh squeezed orange juice with filet pieces with tastes a 100 times better with what you will get here in austria.
i also had the chance to enjoy a special oriental night with dinner by yannick alléno (three michelin-stars chef of the hotel). there you could also see oriental princesses walking trough the hallways of the beautiful buildings and it was like entering another world. the oriental caftan fashion show was accompanied by some berber music and dance – it was a heavenly experience indeed.
