LIMITED EDITION – J.W.ANDERSON x IAN DAVID BAKER
while updating my “to shop” category on the blog last week, i stumbled across the amazing j.w.anderson x ian david baker collab. the designer anderson has curated never-before-seen images from photographer baker.
j.w.anderson is already a well known creative mastermind from london. his latest collection was his best so far (for me) – and therefore i had to include styles from jonathan in my shop. besides his own label he also is responsible for the great comeback of traditional brand “loewe”.
baker on the other hand is a great photographer and artist who selected pictures from the youth in london for this collab. the distinct black and white photographs for whom baker is famous are also unique in their own right – many of the negatives no longer exist, making the prints the last ones. the collection includes t-shirts, sweats, hoodies, scarves, a blanket and is accompanied by a jonathan anderson-curated book containing baker’s artworks and photographs and is limited to an exclusive run of 500 copies.
the candy floss boy hoodie
the hoodies with the raw edged printed patches at the back are the real must have items in this collab for me. hoodies are very early 90’s and this look has been everywhere on the streets and runways – this flashback to my youth-trend is unstoppable now. especially when it comes to ugly fit garments. that’s why i chose the hoodie in a size xl (which is btw not as big as expected but has the perfectly oversized long sleeves)!
be quick before it sells out!
if you like the collab you shouldn’t hesitate to order because there are just a few pieces left!
every piece is unique and could be different from what you see on the webshop – as there are different photos used for each piece. this makes the whole shopping experience even more exciting! ;)
