On my last trip to Paris I stumbled across the new LPLR Eyewear brand while strolling through the concept store “Colette”.

LPLR Eyewear is the acronym for ” La Petite Lunette Rouge ” which comes from their signature style – the double bridge characterize with a red line on all their frames.

Modern design influenced by Lucky Strike

The passion for contemporary art guided Alison Hemmes, designer and Hilarhi Arcade, the founder of the brand into a quest of singularity and modernism.

So their styles are influenced by designers like Raymond Loewy, who designed the famous Lucky Strike packaging, which he created in 1940 and is still on the market and an inspiration (not the smoking, but the design language) ;-)

The catalogue model

I’m honored that I will be part of their first (real printed) catalogue with some of my photos. The catalogue be out soon – stay tuned on Facebook and Snapchat when it arrives, I’ll give you a sneak peek!

Thanks to LPLR for the shades.
