Ever felt like a star in a New York City based movie? The Lowell Hotel offers a glamorous welcome in midtown Manhattan.
The refined 74 rooms boutique hotel with an atmosphere of a private townhouse makes you feel a little bit more appreciated then somewhere else.
The hotel has a very luxury but still cosy appeal. Placed in the middle of NYC it still is really quiet and offers you a lot of space to feel comfortable.

The Story:
You can feel the spirit and love which went into this hotel in every detail – even the bathroom amenities are exclusively made by the owner Dina deLuca Chartouni herself. The DDC28 line captivates with a mesmerizing cedric wood scent which reminds me of the classic incenses from India called “nag champa”.
Dina and her husband arrived in the States as immigrants from Italy and Lebanon and bought the property when they were still in their 20s. Renovating and redecorating every single bit to their liking they created a gem of a hotel – every room exudes a different spirit and personality and really feels as cozy as a visit to a family member (with a lot of taste). The furniture was acquired on their trips and they brought personal items like photos and books to their second “home”.

News:
Parts of the hotel are currently under construction, as there will be a new restaurant including the biggest indoor hanging garden of New York opening in fall. The design comes from Michael Smith, who is also responsible for the rest of the hotel. The restaurant opening hype has already started and guests made reservations months ago – so let’s see how this turns out, when it finally is revealed to the public!
