New York, I love you! The Quin Hotel is located right in the middle of it’s heart next to the Central Park. I’ve been to some really excellent Times Square hotels and this one did not let me down either.
The Quintessential New York Hotel is where the name comes from and that sums up the whole experience. Upon entering our Premier Suite, we could feel the spirit of NYC! The room has a lot of windows that go out to the streets of the Big Apple. This design lets you feel immersed in the city, while maintaining the luxury and comfort of a new and spacious 5 star hotel.
Besides being located next to New York’s highend shopping street – the 5th Avenue – the Quin offers exclusive direct-dial buttons in each room to connect guests with personal shoppers. This is a shopaholic’s dream, but also perfect for the busy ones, who have no time for strolling through the stores.
The Art of Living
The Quin Arts program is another staple of the hotel. It’s goal is to make art and it’s creators accessible. Through this program guests can become part of NYC’s creative community. There’s even a 15-foot video art wall in the lobby! Even legends like Blek le Rat – the founder of stencil street art – has been an artist in residence at the Quin.
Another really cool part is that the whole hotel is very dog friendly! So if you are lucky and have a dog (I’m jealous ;-)) and have the chance to travel with him or her you are more than welcome at The Quin.
The Quin experience
The whole experience of our stay was quite remarkable! The luxury 5 star hotel is supercosy and you get an “at home feeling” immediately. This is something that’s quite hard to master – especially in the luxury segment, where you can sometimes feel “underdressed” in your own room ;)
