My last day at NYFW Men’s Fall/Winter 17 was pretty exciting. Being part of Raf Simons’ first NY show (see my blogpost about it) was my absolute highlight. But besides that there was also some serious street style and a very inspiring show by the New York native Raun Larose.
Raun Larose was founded in 2009 and has raised a lot of attention since then – even in Italian Vogue his label was called “The Future of Menswear”. I definitely agree with that.
The designs are simple, but playful in shapes – timeless, but with the needed twist for the future. In this collection he showed nicely flowing super wide pants held with an upgraded version of my favorite shoelace belt – a rope made of stuffed fabric. The whole collection was definitely my favorite (besides Raf Simons of course ;) ). I would wear every look from it, but my favorites are definitely the soft oversize pants!
I even had the chance to make the cover video for the page: RAUN LAROSE
