This editorial brings something good out of a bad situation. We were evacuated from Miami because of Hurricane Irma last week. On our way escaping up to the North we at least got to discover new parts of the USA – including the charming city of Savannah.

Savannah
Savannah was definitely one of the highlights on the long road up until Washington D.C., where we had to go to catch a flight back to Vienna.
The city of Savannah feels like a lush green garden adorned with life-size doll houses on every corner. The sun is never burning, because her rays have to find their way through the leaf canopy first.
Oversized forever
I got inspired by the sensual collection of designer Christoph Rumpf and went to some of the Outlets in Florida to find an extra wide pant. I got lucky in the “Large & Tall” section and found an oversize pant, that I alternated to a custom fit pant. I pleated the trouser and fixed it by using a couple of long metal pins, that essentially also serve as belt loops to change the oversized item to become a snug fit in no time – there was even no sewing necessary.
