Last week was full of new, vivid impressions when I visited Jordan for the first time. Everything started on a rooftop in Amman.
Amman Impressions
Jordan’s capital set the background for this latest editorial. The city itself has a quite raw appeal. You can’t see a lot of the big global advertising signs around – something I really like.
The sandstone coloured buildings look like grown out of the desert sand. Just a few scyscrapers lead the way into a more futuristic city life. On the rooftop of The Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana – the hotel we stayed in – I found the perfect playground. From here you can spot the past & future.

Streetstyle
Speaking about the future. I wanted to bring a modern streetstyle look to this mostly ancient vision of a city. With the new 032c peroxide collection, jewellery by Mies Nobis (the masterminds from Berlin) and my Caak fanny pack (a brand invented by an Austrian artist).
