From the streets to the studio lights. Streetstyle is for sure the number one inspiration for most fashion brands right now. Times are over when creative minds sculptured garments in their hermetically closed down offices without looking outside. Today I’m taking the street back to the studio – roles reversed!
It just feels good that you can wear your all time favourite (and comfortable) clothes even when joining fashion weeks or maybe also to your upcoming Christmas party! Since pragmatic fashion gods like Gosha Rubchinskiy and Demna Gvasalia decided to bring simple streetwear items into the high fashion industry. You can wear their (highly overpriced) bomber jackets to pretty much any event out there – and people will still nod in agreement when you enter the door.
From the streets to the studio
For this photoshoot it was kind of a revival time – with Mr. Pat Domingo behind the camera. The former press photographer evolved into one of Vienna’s high fashion photographers. On his pictures you still can recognise the certain roughness of a press photographer out in the streets. With his “Constant Evolution” gang he also produces look book videos for Diesel and other brands.
The f6 studio we used for this shooting is just around the corner from my Homebase. Located close the famous Naschmarkt in Vienna it offers the perfect space when winter wonderland hits the streets and you don’t want the dirty snow to touch your Raf’s . ;)
