Venice is not known for minimalism. Maybe when Biennale is around the countless pavilions prove otherwise. But besides that the city has a lush culture of decoration. But I did find something different…
The wrapped up Ponte Dell’Accademia was the perfect setting for this editorial.
By lucky accident I brought the perfect coloured clothes for the scenery at the construction site of the Accademia bridge. A solid turtleneck and a timeless wool jacket by “A Day’s March” combined with beige utility pants from Stella McCartney.
And of course a pair of small, nerdy looking shades by Andy Wolf to complete the academic look.
My Ponte Dell’Accademia look
Shades: Andy Wolf
Jacket: A Day’s March * – Size advice: I took XL since I like to get a slightly oversized silhouette. Otherwise it fits true to size.
Pullover: A day’s March * – Size advice: I’m wearing XL again for a slightly oversized silhouette.
Trousers: Stella McCartney – Size advice: The trousers from Stella are cut slightly bigger – so take one size smaller than usually. I took a 48 and it’s still a little too loose.
Sneakers: Raf Simons – Size advice: Runs slightly bigger – I wear a US 10.
