Since I’m travelling the world for quite a while now, I have to say I’m not easily impressed by new surroundings. Well, Norway’s Lofoten islands did their landscaping job – I’m impressed. ;)
There is pretty much no other place on earth you can explore mountains directly piling up out of the ocean. When this massive monuments get some sugar snow coating they are blasting even more with a contrast rich landscape beyond imagination.
That teddy fur trend
The 70’s retro vibes are all over and teddy fur is one of the main winter outfit ingredients to get that gloomy nostalgic vintage appeal. But teddy fur seems to flood social media these days. From cheapest fast fashion brands to high end labels – it’s something no-one can skip. Even the upcoming FW19 shows are stacked up with the fluffy plastic furriness. Since you should honestly skip fast fashion anyway let’s check out the good stuff.
The unofficial uniform of every artist of all ranges is called Eckhaus Latta these days. And their FW19 is also full of teddy fluffiness.
The New York-based label by duo Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta was founded in 2013 and since then refines NY’s fashion week.
For this editorial I got lucky and had the chance to grab one of the incredible Martine Rose jackets from the last FW18 80’s sportswear inspired collection in the polyester plush finish.
