PARK & RIDE – WITH TIMBERLAND

Who’s first skateboarding attemps didn’t start in a parking lot? Those are the best spots, especially on sundays, when they’re empty and you and more importantly everyone else is safe from your rookie riding skills. Other than that, they’re a perfect spot when it comes to testing my new Timberland boat shoes for their ability to surf the concrete.

Either you build your own green light from scratch including 3d printed pieces or you interact with the workshop part of it by getting involved with the 40 refugees ‘working’ there. In part one of the Omega story I showed you the coastline of Ireland. The inspiration for part two of this project was the engraved observatory on the backside of the Omega Globemaster watch. So I went on to follow the Irish “Astronomy Trail” to explore and learn more about the roots of time keeping.

FINDING TIME IN IRELAND PT. I – WITH THE NEW OMEGA GLOBEMASTER

Where and when was the beginning of time? For thousands of years, devices have been used to measure and keep track of time. But the real origin of time can be found in the stars. I was on a trip to Ireland on the tracks of time from their own Dublin Mean Time to Greenwich Mean Time – all travelled alongside the so called “Astronomy trail”. With the new Omega Globemaster co-axial Master Chronometer I had a precise and elegant watch, which joined me and on which I could count on every second.
